Staff, clients, suppliers and partners of Halifax-based construction company, Southdale got into the swing of things at the firm’s annual Charity Golf Day, to raise a staggering £7,500 for its local nominated charity, the Hollybank Trust.

Over 90 players teed off at Halifax Golf Club to raise money for the Mirfield-based charity, which provides care to children and adults with complex physical disabilities and severe learning difficulties.

Nick Kershaw and Mark Williams from North Yorkshire Timber, won the stableford team prize by sinking the necessary eagle, birdie and par putts to shoot an impressive score of 62 points. 

Paul Moore, managing director for Southdale, commented: “With the sun shining, some players wearing fancy dress and over £7,000 raised  – this year’s annual charity golf day has arguably been the best and most memorable yet!”
