Contract sum: £2.66 million

Southdale completed the new build construction of a Community Centre for West Middlesbrough Neighbourhood Trust.  The centre is fully accessible, with level access and lifts to all parts of the building.  We also intend to provide a new 53-space car park with disabled spaces and adjacent bike racks.  The building includes showers for use by employees.

It is built in traditional steel frame, with brickwork and render to the solid elements, with a mixture of clear and translucent glass to the Fitness Suite café, Youth Zone and IT areas.

In addition to the provision of the pitches, external works included fencing and hard landscaping to the new public areas.
